Study in Korea. Like its neighbors in Asia, South Korea features modern cities with a deep understanding of technology and business. Despite its advanced technology, South Korea is still in-touch with its history through its temples, palaces, festivals, and heritage sites that is still visible alongside skyscrapers and densely populated residential areas.
The professors also developed an interdisciplinary Korean Studies minor, which just launched this semester; they started a study abroad program for WP students this past summer, allowing them to attend Ewha International Summer College in South Korea for little to no cost through a scholarship process; and they have organized well-attended
Binghamton University is in the process of launching two new exciting opportunities for study abroad and exchange in Korea. First, the KAIST exchange will begin in spring 2013 for students in the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science and Harpur College of Arts and Sciences students in the natural science fields.
Asia Exchange offers four different study programs at three universities in South Korea. Semester abroad Spend 1-2 semesters abroad at Hanyang University in Ansan, Dong-A University in Busan, or Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) in Seoul and gain international experience during your studies.
KU Exchange Programs. KU sends more than 1,100 students abroad based on its student exchange agreement with 1,049 prestigious schools in 98 countries around the world. In this student exchange program, our students can still acquire credits while studying abroad and learning foreign languages and culture for one or two semesters.

AFS Academies provide the perfect opportunity to explore human rights, STEM, language and culture, and sustainability.
The Korean Government Support Program for Foreign Exchange Students provides meaningful experiences to international students in Korea and at the university. On the other hand, it strengthens the global competence of universities in South Korea. International students in South Korea can apply for the program for one or two semesters.
